“Just say no to drugs.”
Great advice to kids in school; however, we think that is terrible advice for adults. Our philosophy, and the purpose of our site, is this:
“Do your own research and make your own decisions.”
We came into our drug experiences later in life, and both Erin and I are glad for it. Having access to MDMA in college might have been problematic, but getting into it in our 30s as responsible adults has improved our lives and our marriage. It’s the same with psychedelics. Much of what were taught in school was wrong, either espoused out of ignorance or purposeful exaggerations to create fear around certain substances.
If you are fairly new to the drug scene, check out our drug glossary, which includes words and phrases we will use in our blog to describe our experiences.
We’re telling our stories to help others make informed decisions about using various substances, but we recommend you do research beyond just our blog. We’ve rounded up some of our favorite drug resources to get you started.
